Adviant: sounds like Advice, but with a spin. Our name incorporates the merits of advice, value, intelligence, and commitment. Adviant was originally established in Texas in 1998 as a benefits consulting firm and has expanded into compensation and other related human resources disciplines as marketplace needs shifted and demands changed. Adviant continues to review client needs to make sure it is offering the most innovative service offerings to meet their business objectives.
Adviant offers employee
compensation consulting services,
employee benefit consulting services,
training and communication services,
regulatory compliance and related human resource consulting services, and
insurance brokerage services, as well as
day-to-day outsourcing and administration of our client's compensation, benefit, and HR functions. Adviant performs insurance brokerage activities on an hourly fee basis, the same as our consulting and administration services. Replacing broker commissions with a reasonable hourly fee can reduce a client's annual benefits budget by 3 to 15 percent before contemplating any changes to current benefit programs. Adviant's approach to the employee benefits business eliminates waste and promotes client investments in new programs and technologies (which can further reduce expenses and enhance the value of our clients' total rewards package).
Adviant differentiates itself from larger consulting firms by tailoring its service offerings and fee structure for mid-size employers. Often described as a niche-player or boutique operation, Adviant is large enough to handle substantial assignments yet small enough to easily flex with a client's changing needs. The Firm's clients are both public and private sector employers. Its clients are local, national, and international in scope.
Adviant's founder, Paul Bazell, explains. "The industry has created silos of knowledge wherein employee compensation, benefits, HR, risk management and workplace safety are treated separately. By combining these disciplines, Adviant helps clients streamline the day-to-day administration of these programs and generates new opportunities to align a client's total rewards package with their business plan."
Adviant colleagues are generally graduates of large consulting firms, major brokerage operations, or are tenured HR generalists. Clients draw from a variety of experience and talent as their needs dictate. Each Adviant colleague has day-to-day client accountability for producing measurable value in excess of their billable expense.
