Jonathan Scales - President

Jonathan is a CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in financial planning and services and a master’s degree in accounting. Jonathan has significant experience in executive and employee compensation and benefits, regulatory compliance, and employee relations. His work history includes personal financial planning, taxation, and finance, as well as leadership positions in national consulting firms and the human resources departments of several organizations. Jonathan’s industry experience includes manufacturing, consumer products, high-tech, health care, oil and gas, transportation, and telecommunications. Jonathan joined Adviant in 2007 and now serves as president of the company.

Paul Bazell - Founder

Paul founded Adviant in 1998 to provide employee benefit needs to clients. As Adviant grew, Paul worked to provide Adviant colleagues with the tools and resources they need to deliver superior service and work products. Paul is well-versed in the design, implementation, funding, management, administration, and regulatory compliance of employer-sponsored employee benefit programs. Paul's education in architectural planning and design influenced Adviant from inception. Architecture is a problem-solving discipline - so too is Adviant's approach to business.
